IBA Bare Knuckle continues to build a professional structure for bare-knuckle fighting as an independent sports discipline.
As part of the development and standardization of events, an official set of weight classes has been approved. These divisions will be used in all bouts held under the organization’s banner.
IBA Bare Knuckle Weight Classes:
- 60 kg — Bantamweight
- 66 kg — Featherweight
- 70 kg — Lightweight
- 77 kg — Welterweight
- 84 kg — Middleweight
- 93 kg — Light Heavyweight
- 93+ kg — Heavyweight
The introduction of a unified weight class system ensures transparency in matchmaking, enhances competitiveness, and provides a clear structure for athletes, fans, and partners.
This marks another step toward establishing bare-knuckle fighting as a global discipline under the IBA.
